My name is Emily Donaldson-Selby and I aspire to work in the stop motion animation industry. I am also interested in props and set design for film/TV. I enjoy the art of visual storytelling, through different genres and mediums. I am a graduate from the City of Glasgow College with a BA Honors in Television, and have many successful projects under my name.
ABOUT ME
I have worked with papier-mâché, Newplast clay, felt, wire armatures, watercolour, acrylics, and many other different materials. After leaving school I studied Television Production at both the North East College (Aberdeen) and the City of Glasgow, where I learnt the process of creating film and television, graduating with a BA (Hons). I am a confident storyboard artist using software like Photoshop and Celtx. I have my own stop motion setup and animating table.
I have also developed my skills in set design and props, and feel confident in my abilities to design sets and build props from scratch.

The stop-motion film I made in College (Whiskers Wisdom) was uploaded to the STV Player as part of the RTS Student Television awards selection in 2022. I am passionate about the creative elements of film making, including classical animation and stop-motion animation.
